ATA IT proudly contributed to the recent Earthquake Charity Football Tournament, raising over THB 40,000 for the Thai Red Cross Society. This donation will directly support the Red Cross’ crucial work in rebuilding and providing relief to communities impacted by the recent earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand.
The event at Polo Football Park saw participation from prominent IT companies Amazon Web Services (AWS), Bitkub, and Omise, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the British Embassy Bangkok.
On the pitch, ATA FC showed their fighting spirit, achieving a commendable draw against MFA before facing tough competition against eventual tournament champions Bitkub. Their tournament ended with a hard fought but narrow 1-0 defeat to Omise in the play-offs.
ATA was honored to attend the cheque handover ceremony where Khun Janprapa Vichitcholchai, Deputy Director of the Fund Raising Bureau, expressed her gratitude to all the organizations for their valuable contributions.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in the tournament’s success. Whether you were kicking the ball, cheering us on, or helping behind the scenes to organize everything so quickly – your involvement was truly appreciated! Our commitment to corporate social responsibility continues to be a driving force, and we’re excited to participate in more initiatives to make a positive impact in the coming year.
